#Blogpost 7-Don't t take it casually! Styling those everyday casuals.

It's popularly said, dress how you want to be addressed.
Buy less but choose well.
Casuals is not a style. It is feeling your everyday comfort with elegance and fashion.

In the European tradition, casual is the dress code that emphasizes comfort and personal expression over presentation, formality, and conformity. Also referred to as leisure wear.
It's great to experiment with your style statement and follow on growing trends but then too who wants to compromise their comfort and ease.
Informal, semi-formal or casual wear always comes to a rescue and trust me, there can be nothing more stylish then casual clothing.

Firstly, let's start by differentiating between formal wear and casual wear.

Casual wear includes Tee-shirts, jeans, jackets, khakis, hoodies, summer dresses, skirts, sneakers for example when you're going out for shopping or hanging around with your friends. Casual wear is usually made from materials such as cotton, jersey, denim, polyester, and flannel. This style emphasizes comfort, relaxation, and informality. So basically it is your everyday wear making you feel all relaxed. whereas on the other side formal wear includes gowns, suits etc.for formal events such as ceremonial events, weddings, balls, formal dinners, etc.Materials such as satin, velvet, silk, brocade, etc. are used to make formal wear clothing.

In our everyday life where we all want to feel comfortable and minimal, it is important to find ways to look stylish and chic even in those casuals. From celebrities to everyone around, from going to a movie or going to the office, dropping those basic casuals in a slightly different manner can make you a casual chic.
Here I am sharing some of my personal tips to style your casual wear.
Tip 1- Precision-cut Blazer or a put together summer jackets do wonders. Add them to your wardrobe and pair it up with your everyday t-shirt or a vest or even with a dress.
Tip 2- Not only the hot pants but your Basic shorts can make you feel comfortable and stylish. Pair them up with oxfords, sandals etc. Opt for materials like cotton. Its fun, stylish and lazy looking.
Tip 3- Camisoles and vests- they add a super casual summer look and look super sexy. Pair it up with skinny jeans and pumps at night and wear it that way.
Tip 4- Skirts- Denim, floral, fall, modest or a basic one- skirts can be super girly, comfortable and fun. add them along with a basic shirt or a casual top. Wear your sneakers and its super fun!
Tip 5- Stripe shirts and basic pants- Hello! Casual chic to the max.
Another way is to throw a denim shirt over a basic striped top and if you're someone who can do anything with heels, slide them on.
Tip 6- Shrugs and long coats- Simply throw them around and they can change your outfit from 9 to 5. You can add them to your jeans or a plain dress. Try to choose lighter and basic colors and soft material while layering to avoid bulk.
Tip  7- Athleisure-  It is wearing and styling your athletic or basic wear otherwise. Add your joggers, track pants or cargo pants with a basic loose top, and your favorite shoe or a flat.
Tip 8- Accessories- Accessory is not just an add-on but has a power to completely transform your look. A classic pair of sunglasses, scarfs, clutches and side bags, a basic watch can easily upgrade your casual look. You can generally wear a pair of sneakers or oxfords but if comfortable, go for heels and boots even with a basic t-shirt and jeans.
Tip 9- Jewellery- Apart from clothing, never underestimate the power of your jewelry.
Bracelets, a basic statement necklace, rings etc. add the edge. If you are more experimentative in nature, go for chunk silver jewelry or statement pieces to convert a basic boring outfit into something more fashionable.
YES, with some basic things around you can create various casual looks on a daily basis and can manage to look stylish at your comfort level.

Some must-haves for your casual wear can be for example a denim jacket and a solid leather jacket, culottes or joggers, long coat, basic solid t-shirts, stripe tops, vests, camisoles, a solid dress, denim or a pencil skirt, pair of skinny jeans, striped shirt or a solid shirt, sneakers and oxfords, side bag, basic watch, wayfarers or sunglasses etc.

Here is one of my casual looks, where I took my regular olive green joggers and teamed them up with a plain black top with a tan brown bag and a pair of basic bow flats.

It's time not to take your casual wear that casually! If in any case, you need any kind of suggestion or tip to style your everyday casuals, I will be happy to help you.
