#Blogpost 14- Effortlessness of the jumpsuit.

 Jane Shepherdson, CEO of Whistles and general oracle of what women want to wear says, "A jumpsuit successfully combines elegance and effortlessness – two very hard things to carry off, and the perfect combination for event dressing."

The jumpsuit is something to slip on and forget about. 

This one is about the most popular, cool and forever classic jumpsuits. 

Firstly, let's start with differentiating between jumpsuit and rompers. A jumpsuit is usually long sleeves-long pants, a playsuit is long sleeves-short pants, and  "romper" and "playsuit" are sometimes interchangeable.

When it comes to playsuits, some styles may look like lingerie and some may look a little sportier. Like jumpsuits, you can wear them for both informal and formal occasion. "They make an outfit in one, which makes life easy." When you put it like that, it's a no-brainer – and proof that fashion was right after all.

Reasons why you should be wearing a jumpsuit right now- 

1- Minimal and effortless. Just slip one on. 

2- There is no occasion where a jumpsuit is not appropriate. 

3- Its super versatile. Jumpsuits can be whimsical or totally glam. 

4- Jumpsuits can look modern or at times, totally retro. 

5- Jumpsuits kinda make you look stylish and confident.

6- They're considered as a universal piece of clothing. Creative, do-it-yourself and style as you want to. 

7- Some trends come and go, but jumpsuits have stayed forever since 1919. Iconic and timeless!  

8- They are comforted by fashion. 

Always remember to choose the right cut according to your body shape. You can dress your jumpsuit in sneakers, heels or with a tux blazer. They take you from day to night. The jumpsuit is a wardrobe must-have! 

It helps to elongate your body and makes you look all fashionable. No doubt you see a whole separate section for jumpsuits and playsuits everywhere. 

I tried styling my favorite jumpsuit from Asos. Black with some floral detailing makes it perfect. 

I kept the look simple and classic by pairing them with black stilettoes, black wayfarers, and a gold watch. I carried a floral sling to complete the look.
