#Blogpost 6- Zaika-e-Lucknow !

I don't claim myself to be a food blogger here but because I belong from Lucknow, writing about its cuisine is something I am really interested in.
Nawabs has always been great patrons of art and culture and food automatically becomes an essential part of it. 'Muskuraiye aap Lucknow me hain.' can also be said as 'Kuch khaiye aap Lucknow me hain.' Awadhi cuisine is now a forefront of Indian cuisine and Lucknow was actually the area where most of these food innovations took place. 

I'm not referring to any restaurant or name here in particular but generally talking about Lucknow's famous street food joints and places to hoop on.

Lucknow has a unique vibe for food and yes we are more than just kebabs! I'm a vegetarian and this adds more when I'm saying this. Like every city, Lucknow has different 'Khomchas' and some famous munching points. 

This one is dedicated to those famous and  mouth-watering places which are your must try if you're coming here and for the Lucknowites, we all know them right?

Do help me by adding more places in the comments section below if in case I missed any. Nothing in specific but just a random selection of some of our favorite munching delights from the city of Nawabs. 

1- Starting with the famous, Sharma tea corner is a must go if you're a tea lover! 
Man, that samosa- bun! 😍
2- Need some refreshment? Trust me the Shikanji point at hazratganj is where you need to go! Coolers, drinks, and shakes? It beats them all! 
3- UP aaye aur paan nahi khaya tou kya khak UP aae? 
Go try Agarwal pan at sapru marg and Azhar Bhai ka pan at Chowk for some great varieties in pan.( Yeah, we too have them! ) 
4- That aloo franky at Rovers, and different rolls at the main entrance of Sapru marg is a must try! 
5- Lucknow has so many Maggi points but my favorite is the Maggi point in front of SBI main branch! He has some different techniques and ingredients and its a steal! 
6- Chole bhature and lassi at the Shree lassi corner in chouk serves the best lassi I ever had in my life! 
7- Durga Khasta at Lalbagh and the very famous makkhan malai in chouk! 
8- Kulche nihari at Raheem's ! 
9- Basket chat at Royal cafe has a taste to revive forever. 
10- GPO ke dahi bade! They simply melt in your mouth! I never thought of loving dahi bade so much. 
11- Any shawarma lover? Go head to Manish eating point, patrakar Puram ! 
12- When it comes to Bajpai ki kachori and Netram ki poodi, I seriously stop counting calories! 
13- I recently tried this Maggi bun at chaiwala.com at gomti nagar extention near janeshwar mishra park, and it's all unique and yum! 
14- For the ones with the sweet tooth, Malai ki gilori at Tripathi's and Ramashrey, Motichoor Laddu's at Ritz and jalebis at Chappan bhog is a must try for you! 
15- The very famous chuski wala at alambagh is for every gola lover. I think this one has its branches too. 
16- I droll over golgappa's/pani puri and I so miss Lucknow for this! Although the city has the best chat everywhere but Pandit jee ki chat, Jain chat at lalbagh, king of chat at ganj and Jagdish chat at chouk are some of the best! 
17- Thandai at Pandit raja - chowk! 
18- Have you ever tried that Gulabi chai? It's available at nakhas during Eid and is prepared from saffron, elaichi, and kewra. 
19- Bombay pav bhaji at hazratganj.
20-When we talk about momos, all we know is Nainital momos! Have you guys tried their chocolate momos yet? 
21- Coconut cookies and red velvet cake at J J bakers is my favorite! 🍪
22- Our very own, Idris ki biryani and Awadh Biryani corner. 
23- Our very own 1090 chauraha is the best street food hub of the city. 
24- Cheeze burger of the exer club, Mall avenue is definitely a must-have. 🍔
25- Mutton burger at Apollo bakery, near St. Francis.
